Lighter Than Jobs’ Air

I know that most of you out there will swear by Apple’s MacBook Air’s thinness but, you gotta admit that there are better products out there. Take Dell’s latest laptop, for example. Dell has released a few tempting pictures of its svelte, ultra-thin new laptop.

This laptop will mark the start of a new series of thin yet powerful series by Dell. With a 15.6 inch screen size, this laptop is going to be the thinnest laptop ever made. Yes, Apple FanBoy, you read that right. And, to add fuel to the fire, Dell’s new range will be much more powerful than the MacBook Air. It will be built around Intel’s latest SandyBridge Core i5 and i7 processors and will have a high-resolution display. And, before you ask, yes, it is going to be cheaper than the MacBook Air… At least that’s what Dell said.

“This is the first in a series of products where [Dell is] going to focus on ultra-performance and ultrathin. This is not a one-time product. This is a full commitment to a product category that is focused on thin and powerful,” according to one source. Future models will be available in different sizes. A mouth-watering promotional video was released by Dell. The music is quite catchy & made me replay the video again & again. 😛

This has got to get all the Apple FanBoys absquatulating! Personally, I like my laptops like I like my girls- curvy. So, this laptop most definitely makes my Christmas wish list. 😉
